U13 Green, Tourney Champs!
U13 Green Sabres 'ROAR' to GOLD!

The U13 Green Sabres were in action at the 3rd annual Woodstock Wildcats ROAR tournament. The Sabres were undefeated posting shutouts through the round robin, facing Waterloo Ravens, Twin Centre Hericanes and the Kincardine Kinucks.  The Sabres met a strong, fast and hungry Bluewater Hawks team that opened the scoring in the Semi Finals. The Sabres tied to force 3v3 OT where the Sabres clinched on a breakaway to push them through to the finals.  In the finals, the Sabres out hustled the only team to also post shutout hockey through the round robin, Woolwich Wild.  The Sabres speed and defence took advantage of the big ice, and win gold 3-0.
