A Milwaukee JR Admirals family was in for a rude surprise when their vehicle was stolen on Thursday night. However,
Halton Regional Police was able to apprehend the car thief and retrieve the car!
Unfortunately, the JR Admirals player's hockey equipment was in the vehicle which could not immediately be released back to the family.
Constable Mackenzie Rees, a former
North Halton Twisters player, stepped up and lent her equipment to our American visitors so that the young JR Admiral was able to participate in our U18 AA Showcase!
