Notes
The U18 Sabres wrapped up their tournament against a fiesty Toronto Leaside team. Our girls jumped out to an early lead thanks to Claire Timko, who converted a beautiful breakaway pass by Amelia Villeneuve on our first shift. Villenueve added one of her own in the second and Brooke Biggs put the nail in the coffin with her first marker of the year.
All in all, no hardware was taken home, but the Sabres can take solace in the fact that they were the only team not to lose to the eventual tournament champs AND they were also the only team to register a goal against them. Great weekend ladies!!
