Number 1 club in Ontario!
This is NOT an April Fools Joke. MyHockeyRankings has recognized the Stoney Creek Sabres as the premier association in Ontario for girls' hockey!

MyHockeyRankings is well known, established and appreciated in the hockey community for its fair and mathematically sound rating system allowing teams to compare their ranking in North America beyond their own division, league or even country.

For the 2024-2025 season the data is in and MyHockeyRankings has determined that your Stoney Creek Sabres are the
#1 Girls Hockey Association in Ontario!

Congratulations to the Top 10 highest ranked associations in Ontario

As always our thanks go to all the volunteers at every level, from Fundamentals coaching to AA and the executive, to officials and timekeepers, to our parents and families, to our current players and alumnae - we would not be here today after over 50 years without all of your contributions - thank you! Today we would also like to extend our thanks to MyHockeyRankings for their service to the hockey community and, especially, for including girls hockey and treating our sport the way it deserves to be treated giving it the same space, visibility and opportunity to grow and prosper as they do for boys hockey - we thank and appreciate you!

"MYHockey was developed to share the love of youth hockey with others. It started as a project to share links to other associations and leagues with others. [...] When we started looking at teams, we began to look at records to see if another team might be good competition for my son's team. We quickly realized that a team's record was not an indicator of strength and then we started to wonder who (which team) was really better and by how much. As our team pursued a search for good competition, we made some mistakes that left both us and our opponents less than satisfied after a weekend of blowouts. Over time, MYHockey emerged as a tool to help youth hockey fans, coaches and managers learn more about the sport we all love."
