Windmill Point Park

Used by the local mining industry, the quarry’s limestone helped to build roadways, historical buildings and land marks in the Fort Erie area. Once the mining industry moved on, the quarry made by mining limestone was left to fill with natural spring water and aquatic life. The result: Windmill Point Park.
