CURRENTLY OPEN POSITIONS:
Junior House League Coordinator
We are currently looking for a volunteer that can coordinate the activities of the junior house league divisions. This would include Fundamentals, U9HL, U11HL, and U13HL. A Senior House League Coordinator will manage U15HL, U18HL, and U22HL. This role will include supporting coaches and managers with any questions they may have, participating in the scheduling process for the season, facilitating the resolution of any team disputes, and assisting coaches as they design their season plan and skills and strategy lessons.
Marketing Director
The Marketing Director position was vacated at the AGM as Kristin Lamarre moved to the role of Equipment Director. The Marketing Director will be in charge of soliciting sponsors and partnerships for the Stoney Creek Sabres. This will include branded partnerships, advertised sponsorships, community relationships, unique cross over events, and overall integration of the Stoney Creek Sabres into the local business community. This will be a one year position that will be appointed through a board vote. The position will be re-opened to the membership at the 2025-2026 AGM.
Secretary
The secretary position reached its full term and no nomination was made to fill the position. The secretary position involves preparing and documenting all board meetings, documenting any disputes and their resolutions, supporting other board members as they document or update the their procedures, and ensuring that action items are documented and completed. This will be a one year position that will be appointed through a board vote. The position will be re-opened to the membership at the 2025-2026 AGM.
