As we begin the 2022/23 season, SCGHA Executive would like to announce the formation of the SC
Community Outreach Program.
The Community Outreach Program provides the opportunity for our Sabres teams to give back to the community by volunteering in various events, community programs, clubs, etc. By participating, Sabres members can improve their health, mental awareness, develop team relationships and a community connection.
We know that our community supports us as sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and fans; in order request for that support, we need to give back first!
The
SC Community Outreach Program has the goal of providing Sabres players, in their jerseys, to perform volunteer duties EVERY week of the season. This significant task can encompass the 30 weeks within the season, to have the 30 teams in the organization, participate at least within one or two of those weeks.
Let’s display our Sabres spirit by assisting the
SC Community Outreach Committee!
If you or a family member have an idea for a volunteer opportunity and would be willing to help coordinate we would love to have you with us.
Whether your membership role is parent or player, if you are interested in the program or have a community program that requires volunteers, please contact Grace Nardini at
[email protected] or visit us at our SCGHA website, www.scgha.com, under “
Community Outreach”.
